- Site visit — measuring, shutter light notes, and listening for street noise through open windows.
- Concept — plan, palette (soft clay / mist blue-gray / off-white), and furniture scale diagram.
- Shopping list — keep, buy, and optional lines with realistic Portuguese retail ranges in EUR.
- Styling day — place, edit, and photograph the finished room for your records.
Typical timeline
A quiet corner often completes in three to five weeks once furniture lead times are known. A full reading room may run six to ten weeks if custom textiles are involved. Soft Hearted Calm Rooms shares a dated schedule with every signed brief.
What you approve
You approve the concept before orders. Changes after ordering are possible when suppliers allow; fees for redraws appear on the pricing page. We never introduce spa equipment or programme materials into a design-only commission.
Collaboration with trades
If a painter or electrician is needed, we can recommend contacts familiar with compact Lisbon apartments. Soft Hearted Calm Rooms remains the styling lead; trades invoice you directly unless otherwise agreed.
Aftercare
Two weeks after styling day we offer a short follow-up call to check furniture fit and textile hang. Extra site visits are billed hourly. Portfolio photography requires your written OK.
