Shutter stripe corner — Chiado
A former storage nook beside tall shutters became a single chair zone. We kept the timber shutters, added a mist linen sheer, and chose a low clay-toned seat that turns toward the stripe of afternoon light without blocking the path to the kitchen.
Courtyard reading room — Alfama
Nine square metres overlooking a tiled courtyard. Shallow shelves under the window, a lamp at page height, and a rug that stopped the echo of the tiled floor. Furniture scaled for a compact apartment — no sofa, two light chairs instead.
Light edit on Rua da Misericórdia
A bedroom corner used for evening quiet. We layered blackout only on the street side, left courtyard shutters filtered with sheer, and introduced soft clay bedding with a mist blue-gray throw. Acoustic gain came from textiles alone — design styling, not construction isolation.
What clients ask us to show
Before-and-after plans, EUR shopping lists, and the final sit photograph for private albums. Public portfolio entries stay short so neighbours on steep Alfama streets remain unidentifiable.
