A small preference panel
On first visit, Soft Hearted Calm Rooms shows a compact panel at the top left of the page. It asks whether you accept or decline storage of a single preference value. The panel is part of our quiet layout — not a full-screen overlay — so you can still read the site while deciding.
What we store

The value is held in localStorage on your device for the domain softheartedmom.mom. It is not used for advertising profiles or cross-site tracking.
Essential versus optional
The preference key is optional. If you decline, we store “declined” so we know not to ask again in the same browser; no marketing cookies are set either way. Technical hosting logs may still exist on the server side and are separate from this browser key — see our privacy policy.
How to change your mind
Clear site data for softheartedmom.mom in your browser settings, then reload any page. The panel will appear again at the top left. You can also email [email protected] with questions about cookies or privacy.
