Where windows dominate a wall, low seating keeps the vertical rhythm of shutters visible. Mist blue-gray upholstery sits quietly against painted timber; soft clay wood tones warm limestone thresholds without adding bulk.
Alfama irregularity
Sloped floors and odd niches need adjustable legs and modular tables. We avoid monumental sofas in rooms under twelve square metres and prefer two lighter seats that can reconfigure when guests arrive. Storage is vertical and shallow so doors still clear.
